United States Air Force C17 Globemaster 07-7183 ‘Charleston Air Froce Base’ arrived ex. Brisbane at 21.30hrs as ‘Reach 540’. The aircraft departed to Canberra at 09.00hrs on 1/12/16 using the same callsign.
This was the aircraft’s 1st visit to Adelaide. It is the 3rd USAF C17 to visit Adelaide Airport and the 3rd foreign Air Force C17 to visit the airport in the past 12 months.
United States Navy Gulfstream 5 (C-37A) 166375 arrived ex Manila at 06.20hrs. After spending 4 days in Adelaide the aircraft departed to Hawaii at 16.00hrs on 8/9/16.
This was the aircraft’s 3rd visit to Adelaide. It visited Adelaide Airport back on 6/10/16 and made a quick visit to Edinburgh Base on 1/4/15.
Royal Australian Air Force C-27 Spartan A34-001 arrived ex. Richmond at 12.20hrs as ‘Wallaby 30‘. After a quick re-fuel and unload the aircraft departed back to Richmond at 14:30hrs using the same callsign.
This was the aircraft’s 1st visit to Adelaide. it was the 1st C27 to visit Adelaide, The RAAF have 2 in operation currently with another 10 on order.

Following on from ZZ173’s visit last week, this week Royal Air Force C17 Globemaster III ZZ176 arrived from Whenuapai, New Zealand at 16.30hrs as ‘Ascot 6342‘. The aircraft will night stopped in Adelaide.
This was ZZ176’s 1st visit to Adelaide, it is only the 4th RAF C17 to visit Adelaide with sisterships ZZ171, 172 and 173 making visits. .

Royal Air Force C17 Globemaster III ZZ173 arrived from Whenuapai, New Zealand at 17.35hrs as ‘Ascot 6697‘. The aircraft night stopped in Adelaide and departed the following day to Woomera, SA at 1230hrs then onto Perth, WA.
This was ZZ173’s 1st visit to Adelaide, it is only the 3rd RAF C17 to visit Adelaide with sisterships ZZ171 and 172 making visits. ZZ172 was the last one to visit way back in July 200
This was the aircraft’s 1st visit to Adelaide, it was the 1st C130J to visit Adelaide. It was also the 1st RAF aircraft to visit Adelaide since 30/7/07.

This is the aircraft’s 1st visit to Adelaide. This is also the 1st visits of a United States Air Force since B757 which had Hilary Clinton on board made a visit back in November 2013.

Hifly A340-300 CS-TQM operated by ADA Gold arrived from Sydney at 14.18hrs as ‘ASY22‘. It then departed at 15.15 to Darwin using the same callsign.
This is CS-TQM’s 2nd visit in a week. It arrived last Tuesday 21/5/13 at 1700 and departing at 1800, the origion and destination were the same as today’s flight.

Royal Australian Air Force A330-200MRTT (KC-30A) A39-002 arrived into Adelaide today at 13.00hrs. These aircraft are not common into Adelaide. They visit from time to time. They are always a welcome visitor to Adelaide

2 Singapore Air Force PC21’s made a quick visit to Adelaide this morning. Serial 9105 and 9110 arrived from Western Australia and departed Adelaide for Avalon Airport in rediness for the Australian International Airshow.
