Former Silver Airways SAAB 340B N420XJ arrived ex. Orange at 13.35hrs completing its delivery flight to Regional Express. The aircraft will under go maintenance and possible re-paint in Adelaide before entering service with the Regional airline.
The aircraft made an massive 6 stops from its delivery port in USA at Bangor. it routed Bangor-Renton- Hilo- Apia-Coolangatta-Orange-Adelaide.
QantasLink DHC8-400 VH-LQM arrived from Melbourne at 16.10hrs as ‘QF2069‘. The aircraft will operate a couple of flights to Port Lincoln this afternoon. The 1st being at 17.15hrs as ‘QF2273’. The aircraft will then departed at 11.00hrs the next day back to Melbourne as ‘QF2066‘.
This is LQL’s 1st visit to Adelaide since it was delivered almost 2 moths ago.

Regional Express SAAB 340 VH-ZJS arrived into Adelaode at 1505hrs from Wagga Wagga as ‘ZL9924‘. The aircraft will be based in Adelaide and will be used on regular Regional Express Services across the state.
The aircraft is wears the livery of its former lessor Nok Air in Thailand. The aircraft was delivered to REX in 2006 as VH-JRX. In 2009 the aircraft was leased to Nok Air (Happy Air) and re-registered as HS-IPI, in 2011 it was returned to Regional Express still painted in the Nok Air (Happy Air) livery and it was re-registered VH-ZJS.
On 20/12/12 Plane Spotting Adelaide blog celebrated its 1st year of operation. During this time we have posted over 200 entries covering various and exotic movements passing through Adelaide Airport. C208 N308TC arrived from Townsville at 16.55hrs after completing its 6hr 55min flight. The aircraft into Townsville from the Marshall Islands on 13/12/12.Prior to that the aircraft stoped at Honolulu, Merced (KMCE) and Nogales (KOLS)

Pel Air Aviation SAAB340A VH-KDB made a quick visit in the early hours of this morning. The aircraft arrived from Sydney at 01.25hrs and departed back to Sydney at 03.00hrs.

This aircraft also made a visit on 7/12/12 arriving from Sydney at 01.40hrs and departing back to Sydney at 03.25hrs.
This aircraft is 28th year of serivce in Australia, orginally delivered delivered new to Kendell Airlines in 1985 and then handed over to REX in 2002 after the collapse of Kendell. In 2009 it was converted to a Freighter and handed over to REX sibsidary airline Pel-Air express. This aircraft is not common into Adelaide, it is usally based in Brisbane
Making a very rare venture to Adelaide were 2 Dornier 328 aircraft owned by Aerorescue.
The 1st to arrive was Essendon based Dornier 328 VH-PPQ which arrived at 05.15hrs from its home base as ‘Rescue 431’, it departed at 05.55hrs for a 4hr 48min flight over the Southern Ocean it returned to Adelaide at 10.50hrs. After overnighting, it departed back to Essendon on 22/11/12 at 09.05hrs as ‘Rescue 431’.

The 2nd to arrive was Perth based Dornier 328 VH-PPF which arrived at 02.25hrs from its home base as ‘Rescue 461’. After a short stop it departed back to Perth at 18.00hrs as ‘Rescue 461’.
