TOLL B737-400F ZK-TLF

TOLL Frieght new B737-400F ZK-TLF arrived ex Melbourne at 05.25hrs as ‘TOLL Freight 36’. the aircraft will spend the day in Adelaide before departing this evening. This ZK-TLF 1st visit to Adelaide, the aircraft is in a all white livery.

TOLL Frieght base one of their B737’s and  ATR freigthers in Adelaide. From Monday-Thursday they depart Adelaide at around 1900 and and after  many stops to Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, theyarrive back in the early hours of the next morning.

Singapore Cargo comes to town

After a long hiatus from Adelaide, the 1st Singapore Cargo in almost 2.5months touched down tonight at 20.00hrs from Sydney as SQC7124. The flight is operated by B747-412F 9V-SFD. The aircraft then departed at 22.51hrs bound for Singapore as SQC7123.

Regional Express (REX) to begin Adelaide-Mildura services

REX have announced today that they will beign services to Mildura from July 9  2012.

The flights are an tag-on to the Broken Hill flight 6 days a week. It will route  Adelaide-Mildura-Broken Hill- Mildura- Adelaide. ZIn light of this announcement the Broken Hill-Adelaide-Broken
Hill service is set to increase from 15 flights a week to 19.

RAAF Wedgetail at Adelaide Airport

A nice suprise at Adelaide airport yesterday 21/5/12 when RAAF Wedgetail A30-001 performed an ILS apporach on runway 23.

Virgin Australia A330-200 diverts to Adelaide

Virign Australia A330-243 VH-XFB diverted to Adelaide this evening eroute from Perth to Sydney. The aircraft arrived at 22:10hrs and departed at 23.30hrs continuing its journey to Perth,

Jetstar A321 makes a visit

Jetstar Airways A321-231 VH-VWZ. Made is 1st visit to Adelaide yesterday evening 17/5/12 arriving at 21.0hrs from Perth as JQ975. It later departed at 22.06hrs to Melbourne as JQ775.

The A321’s are very rare to the shores of Perth and Adelaide, they mainly operate flights along the east coast and up to Darwin where they fly to Bali and Singapore.

N767A departs…

ARAMCO owned B767-2AXER N767A which arrived in Adelaide on 11/5/12 departed this morning at 10.40hrs bound for Kahului Airport, Hawaii (PHOG). The total flight time is scheduled to be 11hrs 44mins. This is one of the longest flights that has dpearted Adelaide.

Challenger VH-ZSU visit

Revesco Aviation Pty Ltd owned Challenger 604 VH-ZSU arrived ex. Perth at 11.40hrs.

B767-200 N767A arrives

ARAMCO owned B767-2AXER N767A arrived into Adelaide tonight at 20.30hrs from Miyazaki International Airport, Japan (RJFM).

This is the 1st B767-200 that has visited  Adelaide since 26/9/2004 when Qantas B767-238ER VH-EAQ made its final appearance.

Cobham DHC8-300 VH-SBJ arrives

Cobham DHC8-300 VH-SBJ arrived from Kalgoorlie on 11/5/12 at 00.15hrs. This aircraft is one of only a couple of aircraft in the cobham fleet painted in the old style livery with the black tail and cobham logo. The rest of the fleet has a white tail with the cobham logo.

VH-SBJ up until 2010 was with QantasLink flying along the east coast of Australia. In late 2010 it was then transferred to the Cobham fleet. It had maintaince and repainted done in Adelaide then was deplayed to the airlines operations in Perth where it has been flying to various ports.
