Qantas’s only international flight out of Adelaide be reshuffled to coincide with the airlines recent decision to stop its Mumbai-Singapore leg from May 4th 2012. Under the current schedule the aircraft which goes up to Singapore as QF81 continues onto Mumbai and then goes back to Singapore and comes back to Adelaide as QF82.
Under the new schedule effective 5th May 2012…
QF81 ADL-SIN remains unchanged however the flights will orginate in Sydney and will not sit on ground all day on a Thursday or Staurday unlike the current schedule. QF82 SIN-ADL however will see a change in days of operations and will end in Sydney. The flights have gone back to a SYD-ADL-SIN-ADL-SYD roation.

Malaysia Airlines took delivery of its 5th A330-300 9M-MTF on 24/01/12.
It took a little while but 9M-MTF finally made its 1st visit to Addelaide on 9/2/12 operating MH139 arriving at 0815. It departed later that day at 14.30hrs as MH138.
Since then it has visited on 13/2 operating MH139/136 and on 16/2 operating MH139/138.
Malaysia Airlines operates 6 flights a week into Adelaide on Sunday’s, Monday’s, Tuesday’s, Thursday’s, Friday’s and Saturdays. All 6 flights arrive as MH139 at 8.15hrs. 3 departures are at 10.00hrs as MH136 (Sunday, Tuesday and Friday) and 3 departures are at 14.30hrs as MH138 (Monday, Thursday and Saturday).

A P3 Orion from Edinburgh did around 6 touch and goes at YPAD this afternoon while traffic was quiet.
Singapore Cargo today was operated by B747-400BCF 9V-SCB. This was its 1st visit to Adelaide. Under the new schedules the aircraft arrives at 1330, then overnights and departs at 1030 tomorrow morning.
A new addition to the Alliance Airlines fleet B737-400 ZK-JTQ, passed through Adelaide today for a short fuel stop. It arrived ex. Brisbane at 1035hrs as ‘Airwork 1’.
The aircraft is ex. Qantas VH-TJQ, then was trnasfered over to Jetconnect (Qantas New Zeland) as ZK-JTQ where it remained in service until it was retired from Qantas service on 15 November 2011 and ownership changed to Airwork (NZ) on 20 December. It was put into short term storage in Auckland and was then painted into Alliance colours.
